The Purpose of the position:

If you are interested in a career in Rail Engineering and you are a new graduate interested in design, Rail & Transit could be an extremely exciting field for you to explore.

The Engineering new graduates would be responsible for providing engineering & design services along with administrative support on a variety of projects related to Railway from design phase to final construction stage under the supervision of the Project leads. We will insure that based on your discipline you will work in your chosen field at Sener. The following are the main disciplines in which we operate:

• Overhead Contact Systems-OCS
• Civil Engineering (Structural & Geotechnical included)
• Trackwork Design
• Communications & Signaling
• Mechanical Engineering
• Systems & Safety Assurance
• RAMS Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Project Controls
• Architectural
• Geotechnical 
• Environmental

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, Civil, Systems Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical
• Possessing an analytical spirit and mindfulness
• Passion for Engineering & Design
• A sense of curiosity and innovation
• Previous intern or coop experience within a Rail Engineering environment is a strong asset
• Able to thrive in a collaborative and autonomous work environment
• Able to have a Continuous Improvement and data driven mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point and Project)
• CAD software experience an asset
• Great relationship building capacity

Key Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and prepare reports, drawings and specifications
• Produce engineering investigation and reports as requested
• Follow-up on action items
• Actively participate in project development
• Attend and present at meetings with our clients
• Assist in root cause analysis and solution implementation
• Analyze data and make recommendations
• Prepared site visit construction reports for ongoing projects
