On-site | Vancouver Office – 675 W Hastings St.
About EviSmart
EviSmart (by Evident) is a global leader in AI-powered dental workflow automation and CAD design outsourcing. Trusted by laboratories and clinics in over 26 countries, our mission is simple but powerful: to make dental care smarter, faster, and better for everyone. Our platform seamlessly connects dentists, lab technicians, and manufacturers through intelligent automation—revolutionizing modern dentistry around the world.
Now, we're taking things to the next dimension — literally. We're building the next generation of 3D visualization tools that power our AI-driven dental design systems, and we're looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to help us make it happen.
What You'll Do
We're looking for a passionate and inventive
Full Stack Engineer
who thrives at the intersection of 3D graphics, software architecture, and user experience. You'll be working on applications that visualize, analyze, and manipulate complex 3D dental data — bridging advanced backend algorithms with intuitive frontends that redefine what's possible in digital dentistry.
In This Role, You Will
- Design and build responsive, interactive web UIs for visualizing and manipulating 3D data (meshes, point clouds, volumetric data).
- Integrate backend computational geometry, AI, and data-processing tools into seamless frontend experiences.
- Develop APIs and middleware to connect backend pipelines with frontend visualization frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, 3D researchers, and product teams to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions.
- Optimize rendering performance and data streaming for large 3D datasets.
- Maintain code quality, testing, and CI/CD practices across the full stack.
Who We're Looking For
You're a builder at heart — someone who enjoys creating beautiful, performant, and technically sophisticated web experiences. You bring together a solid understanding of full-stack development with a passion for 3D visualization and real-world applications.
You Have
- Strong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Hands-on experience with 3D visualization libraries/frameworks , , , WebGL/WebGPU).
- Solid understanding of backend development (Python, , or similar), including REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Experience handling 3D file formats (STL, OBJ, PLY, glTF).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to integrate complex backend tools into intuitive user interfaces.
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of computational geometry, CAD, or 3D graphics pipelines.
- Experience with point cloud or mesh processing (Open3D, PyTorch3D, VTK, trimesh).
- Understanding of performance optimization for large-scale 3D rendering (WebGPU, shaders, GPU acceleration).
- Experience building collaborative 3D applications (multi-user visualization, annotation, etc.).
Why Join Us?
- Help shape the future of AI-driven 3D design and visualization in dental technology.
- Collaborate with talented engineers, researchers, and designers solving cutting-edge challenges.
- Work in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment where your ideas matter.
- Competitive salary + benefits + opportunities for growth into senior or architecture roles.
Ready to Build the Future in 3D?
If you're excited to build next-generation 3D data applications, love solving technical challenges, and want to help redefine what's possible in digital dental innovation — we'd love to hear from you.
