Role Description

This is a contract role for an Optometrist, located on-site in Courtice, ON. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. The role also involves educating patients about eye health, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
• Expertise in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions
• Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing eye diseases
• Proficient in patient education and providing pre- and post-operative care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario
• Experience in the use of latest eye care technology is a plus
