SAF-HOLLAND Canada Limited, a worldwide leading manufacturer and supplier of premium product systems and components for the global commercial vehicle industry, is seeking a certified Maintenance Millwright to join our team in Woodstock, Ontario.

Our diverse product range includes axle and suspension systems, fifth wheels, couplers, kingpins, landing gear legs, air brake adjusters, valves, ABS, actuators, and trailer CPU's. These components are expertly manufactured at our Woodstock facility, which is equipped with a wide range of advanced equipment and processes, including robotic welding and machining.

THE OPPORTUNITY

MAINTENANCE MILLWRIGHT - Afternoon Shift (4 x 10's Monday to Thursday)

This full-time, permanent role offers a highly desirable compressed work week, allowing for a three-day weekend every week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Install, align, and commission new equipment and machinery as required.
  • Perform essential routine preventative maintenance (PMs) to ensure equipment longevity and peak performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are seeking a licensed professional with a passion for troubleshooting and working on high-level industrial systems.

  • Mandatory: Must hold a valid Millwright (433A) license in the province of Ontario.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of previous experience in a high-volume industrial manufacturing environment.
  • High-Value Assets: Demonstrated experience with CNC machines and Robotics (Fanuc/Motoman) is considered a strong asset and will be highly weighted.
  • Core Skills: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment.
