Administrative Duties:

  • Establish and maintain an efficient system to coordinate, prioritize and administer all components of an Arrangement File.
  • Receive and accept an Arrangement File following arrangements then thoroughly review all aspects
  • Identify what has been completed and verify. Identify what remains to be completed then prioritize those items then proceed with the administration
  • Proceed with the completion of the Arrangement File. (Contact Place of Death, Clergy, Cemetery, Coroner, 'Service Partners', Consulates etc.). (Proof and verify components that have been ordered then order what has yet to be ordered, printing, product, media etc.).
  • Proof reading media notices, printing and funeral paperwork
  • Type and prepare Media Notices.
  • Complete banking deposits for cash, account and credit card deposits
  • Ability to answer internal and external phone calls. Good phone etiquette is a must. Must be able to communicate clearly.
  • Attend and participate in chapel and company meetings.
  • Ensure a professional appearance as required by Turner and Porter Funeral Directors Limited's grooming policy.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
