Carpenter/Labourer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and general labor tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work on various projects and contribute to the construction process.

Duties:

- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, windows and door installation , siding , flooring and other carpenter tasks

- Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials on job sites

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment for construction projects

- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

- Build and install drywall, doors, windows, and other structures

- Apply caulking and sealants to protect structures from elements

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in heavy lifting and manual labor

- Experience with plumbing, electrical work, and using hand and power tools

- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong attention to detail and precision in carpentry work

- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with blueprint reading for construction projects

- Experience in caulking and sealing techniques for finishing touches on projects
