JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Haul truck operator for a project within Niiwin G.P. The candidate will be responsible for setting up equipment for daily use. They must also provide strong leadership, confidence, and knowledge to fully engage and maintain the understanding of operating procedures for their machines as well as reporting safety hazards within the work environment. Candidate must be professional, hands-on personable leader committed to the overall objective and self-development within the company.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the sites
- Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines
- Great communications for working with others on the job
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
- Class D/Z or A/Z license
- Secondary school (preferred)
- Experience with the operation of various types of equipment will be considered an asset. (grader/loader/plow truck/water truck)
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Clean drivers abstract
- 3 month probation
