The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between our sales team and demand-side partners, ensuring our inventory is effectively monetized and our revenue goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Private Auction Set Up and Optimization:

  • Build and manage private marketplaces (PMPs) and programmatic guaranteed deals within our ad server to drive competitive bidding and increase revenue.

  • Proactively monitor and optimize deal performance, adjusting floor prices, targeting, and audience segments to maximize eCPM and fill rate.
  • Conduct A/B tests on deal settings to identify the most effective strategies for key buyers.

  • Deal Troubleshooting and Analysis:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all private auction troubleshooting.

  • Analyze deal performance to identify and resolve discrepancies, delivery issues, and technical errors.
  • Work directly with external demand partners to diagnose and fix issues in real-time, ensuring deals perform as expected.
  • Ad Quality & Compliance:
  • Help to maintain ad quality across our properties (RC and CBC) using various tools, including Ad Lightning and the Ad Review Center in our ad server.

  • Working Closely with Sales:

  • Act as the primary programmatic expert for the sales team, providing them with data, insights, and technical support.

  • Assist in setting up and launching new deals, ensuring they are configured to meet client expectations and revenue goals.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team on inventory packaging, pricing strategies, and private auction best practices.

  • Reporting and Insights:

  • Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive reports on programmatic performance for both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze data to create actionable insights and present strategic recommendations to leadership on how to grow ad revenue.
  • Reconcile invoicing at the beginning of each month to ensure accurate billing and revenue recognition.
  • Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate performance and inform future deal strategies.

  • Client Management:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for demand-side platforms (DSPs) and trading desk partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers, fostering trust and collaboration to grow deal volume.
  • Communicate effectively with partners regarding inventory updates, new deal opportunities, and performance insights.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a programmatic role, preferably with a publisher or agency focused on the supply side.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Deep expertise with a major ad server, such as Google Ad Manager (GAM).

  • Strong understanding of header bidding and the mechanics of the open auction.
  • Experience with troubleshooting tools like Google Publisher Console.

  • Analytical Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on yield management metrics (eCPM, fill rate, RPM).

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas) and data analysis.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and performance data clearly.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.

Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.

We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
