Terrafina is an all-day kitchen focused on Italian cuisine made with exceptional local ingredients. We are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our 2026 culinary team—a motivated, skilled cook who takes pride in execution, consistency, and leadership on the line.
About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in the daily operation of the kitchen. You will be responsible for running your station with confidence, supporting service flow, and contributing creatively through daily specials and menu development. This position is ideal for a chef who enjoys both structure and creativity and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Run and lead a station during service with consistency and efficiency
- Execute Italian-inspired dishes to a high standard of quality and presentation
- Create and contribute to unique daily specials
- Support and mentor junior cooks during service
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and product rotation
- Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service
What We're Looking For
- Strong all-round culinary skills and passion for Italian cuisine
- Ability to work all stations and confidently run a shift
- Calm and focused under pressure
- Food Safe Level 1 certification (required)
- Red Seal certification (an asset, not required)
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
