Why is this role important
 

Our Store Team Members are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customer needs to live life well.  Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products.

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Part-Time Meat Clerk to support daily operations in our Meat Department.

Responsibilities:

• Stock meat and poultry products in displays and coolers.

• Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO) and check expiry dates regularly.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of meat counters, coolers, and work areas.

• Package, label, and price meat products accurately.

• Follow food safety and health regulations at all times.

• Assist customers with product questions and basic requests.

• Support department with cleaning and end-of-day closing tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or meat department is an asset.

• Ability to work in a cold environment for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
