Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on construction or agricultural projects.

Duties

  • Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders to perform tasks including digging, building, and moving materials.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Follow project plans and specifications to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities on-site and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

  • Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including bulldoze, backhoe, and loader operation.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair farm machinery.
  • Experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with equipment operation, including lifting and maneuvering materials.
  • Valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting equipment as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
