Structural Engineer

Our client is an industry leader in vertical access equipment in North America. They are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join their team in Uxbridge.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design components and analyze mechanical and structural systems for various projects.
• Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform or manage stress, load, and structural integrity analyses.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and project managers to optimize designs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing and construction teams.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee installations to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Experience with project management and coordination is a plus.
