  • Review maintenance checklists and update tasks to align with equipment and industry requirements.
  • Review engineering drawings to identify equipment.
  • Assist in GIS integration of maintenance tasks to optimize workflow.
  • Help develop digital tools to assist workforce using Power Platform.
  • Help in the registration of this equipment in the Asset Management computer database.
  • Work on developing long term maintenance planning and lifecycle strategies.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a diploma or degree program in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Technology, or Computer Data Analysis.
  • Preference will be given to students in their second year of study.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent) and the use of a personal vehicle is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power platform (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with InforEAM or similar Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) systems will be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in a plant or field environment, photography experience and any relevant completed workplace safety training will also be an asset.
  • Success in this position requires strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Pre-employment Drug Test: An offer of employment for this position will be conditional on an applicant passing a pre-employment drug test. This test assesses for use of drugs including cannabis. Failure to pass a pre-employment drug test may prevent an applicant from being hired into any safety sensitive position for a period of up to twelve months.
