We're one of BC's leading commercial and industrial sheet metal contractors, specializing in large-scale HVAC projects across the province. Our in-house BIM team is a key part of how we deliver high-quality, coordinated projects, connecting design, fabrication, and installation.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Junior BIM Modeler / BIM Technician
to support our growing BIM department. You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople and modelers, helping keep large projects moving by tackling day-to-day modeling and coordination tasks. It's a hands-on role with plenty of room to learn and grow.
What You'll Do
- Assist senior modelers with drawing updates, detailing, and coordination
- Help close out clashes and maintain model accuracy using
Revit
,
Navisworks
,
AutoCAD
,
Revizto
(Autodesk AEC Collection) - Prepare material releases and shop drawings for fabrication
- Support the field and shop teams with accurate, buildable models
- Keep project files organized and up to date
What You Bring
- Certificate, diploma, or experience in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks (experience with Revizto or Trimble Connect is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn from senior modelers and trades
- Solid communication and teamwork skills
