Job Title: Commercial Account Manager
Location: Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie, AB (In-office)
Salary: Starting at $70,000 plus incentives
Pathfind is pleased to partner with highly reputable and innovative insurance brokerages to find experienced Commercial Account Managers for their locations in Edmonton, Calgary, and Grande Prairie. As an Account Manager, you will work alongside the Sales Team, to manage account renewals, support client growth, and provide mentorship to team members. This role is ideal for a proactive, client-focused professional with a strong background in commercial lines insurance.

- Renewal Management - Prepare pre-renewal letters, policies, endorsements, customer record books, certificates, and other related documents.
- Client Proposals - Oversee the preparation of proposals, binders, and policy renewal documents; ensure accuracy in certificates, cover notes, and mortgage requests.
- Marketing and Quoting - Market, rate, and quote new and renewal complex risks, leveraging industry expertise to meet client needs.
- Sales Support - Assist Sales Executives with client information gathering, distribute quotes and proposals, and accompany them on client visits to present insurance proposals.
- Account Reconciliation - Prepare and manage customer account reconciliations and report potential bad debts, taking proactive measures to avoid Errors & Omissions.
- Cross-Selling & Client Engagement - Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell additional products, and address client inquiries promptly.
- Underwriting Support - Gather and follow up on underwriting information by managing the completion of brokerage applications.
- Meetings & Collaboration - Actively participate in team meetings and company events to foster collaboration.
Education & Experience
- Level 2 General License required.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lines within an insurance brokerage environment.
- Proven experience working effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Client-Focused - Proactive in handling client needs and addressing inquiries with a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Problem Solver - Able to think creatively and outside the box to resolve client issues effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration - Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships and mentor team members.
