Overview

We are a well-established excavation and demolition company operating in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, currently seeking an experienced and motivated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team.

This position involves operating lowbed, End dump, dump truck. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently, understands construction trucking, and takes pride in their work.

This role is ideal for:

  • An experienced lowbed/end dump driver or skilled driver looking to move up into lowbed and additional combinations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 trucks hauling:
  • Tandem lowbed
  • End dump trailer
  • Demolition trailer
  • Load and unload heavy equipment on lowbed trailer
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Secure loads properly and transport equipment/material safely
  • Maintain clean, damage-free trucks and trailers
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with supervisors and coworkers
  • Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
  • Work efficiently on active excavation and demolition sites
  • show up to work on time, ready to perform with a positive attitude.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • Minimum 5 years experience driving Class 1 trucks
  • Dump truck experience required; lowbed experience is a strong asset
  • Strong knowledge of safe driving, load securement, and site awareness
  • Clean driver abstract
  • Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
  • Safety-focused with strong attention to mechanical condition

Assets (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Familiarity with Lower Mainland roads
  • Knowledge of local dump sites and gravel pits
  • Heavy equipment operation experience (excavator, dozer, etc.)
  • Ability to load and unload equipment independently
  • Willingness to assist with equipment operation as needed

Our trucks and trailers are very well maintained, and we expect drivers to keep equipment clean and damage-free.

Safety is our highest standard — daily inspections, mechanical awareness, and responsible operation are mandatory.
