Are you a BIM expert ready to make a real impact? WSP is looking for a talented and driven BIM Engineer/Designer with proven expertise in Revit (piping and mechanical systems) and exposure to Civil 3D to join our dynamic Fire & Life Safety – Tunnel Ventilation Systems (FLS & TVS) team.

What you can expect to do here

  • Develop, coordinate, and review advanced BIM models for mechanical and HVAC systems using Revit, with a focus on large-scale rail and transit projects
  • Integrate Civil 3D models for seamless site, utility, and infrastructure coordination
  • Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to ensure optimal integration of mechanical and civil systems
  • Prepare technical drawings, schedules, and documentation for all phases of design and construction
  • Support clash detection, model validation, and quality control to ensure project excellence
  • Provide technical support throughout the design process and contribute to the evolution of BIM standards and best practices
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and help build strong professional relationships
  • Support business development activities and promote BIM innovation within the team

What you'll bring to WSP

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling for mechanical systems using Revit, ideally in rail, transit, or infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience integrating Civil 3D models for multidisciplinary coordination
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650, BIM processes, and NFPA standards (NFPA 130, NFPA 502)
  • Experience in a consulting engineering environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is an asset)
  • Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn and grow

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other advanced BIM tools.
  • Hands-on experience with clash detection and model coordination.
