The Opportunity
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a reliable
Labourer
to join our team in
Red Deer
, Alberta
. As the Labourer, you will be responsible for the physical movement and documentation of rental equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As the Labourer your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing equipment
  • Washing, fueling, and thoroughly inspecting units
  • Completing detailed inspection reports and communicating any found issues to Technicians
  • Assisting Technicians with repair tasks
  • Handling freight documents and administrative tasks
  • Loading and unloading machines
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Performing minor equipment repairs as guided by team members

Required Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment and or prior mechanical experience
  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to safely lift at least 40 pounds
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reliable team player with a strong work ethic

The base pay range for this role is: $26.55 to $30.43 per hour depending on experience.
