Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in hospital settings and acute care environments. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with various conditions, including pediatrics. The Physiotherapist will play a crucial role in improving patients' mobility and quality of life through tailored treatment plans.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
  • Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery and mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with medical standards.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Experience

  • Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings.
  • Experience working with pediatric and pregnant patients is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Proven ability to provide high-quality patient care while demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
