Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain a clean, organized workstation.

Prepare and cook menu items according to restaurant quality and presentation standards.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain food quality.

Prep fresh ingredients, including chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and making sauces.

Stock, organize, and maintain inventory of ingredients and toppings.

Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, slicers, and grills.

Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning as needed.

Handle and prepare meat and poultry following food safety guidelines.

Work quickly and accurately under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Support the kitchen team with various tasks as required.

Ensure proper food storage and maintain cleanliness in prep areas.

Requirements:

At least 1-2 year of experience in a restaurant kitchen as line cook.

At least 1-2 year of experience as a kitchen helper

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen procedures, and knife skills.

Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail.

Proficiency in reading and following cooking instructions.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to stay calm and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Live in Waterdown/Halton/Hamilton region as bus routes are unreliable in the area
