Irrigation Technician

Job Title: Irrigation Technician (Full-Time, In-Person)

Location: Penticton, BC (Must reside in Penticton – No remote work)

We are seeking an experienced and certified Irrigation Technician to join our team in Penticton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, etc.)
• Perform system audits, adjustments, winterizations, and startups
• Work extensively with smart irrigation technologies (controllers, sensors, weather-based systems, remote apps)
• Provide excellent on-site customer service

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an irrigation technician
• Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) Level 1 & Level 2 from the Irrigation Industry Association of BC (IIABC)
• Strong knowledge of smart irrigation systems and water-efficient practices
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must live in Penticton or immediate area (this is a fully in-person role)

Compensation:

• $19–$20 per hour
• Full-time position
