Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation and delivery services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to serve the community while maintaining a flexible schedule and cash paid.

Duties

• Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the municipality or towns in Southern AB and BC
• Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding, luggage handling, and seating arrangements as needed
• Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs by managing routes efficiently and self dispatching on the fly
• Collect fares accurately using cash or electronic payment methods and provide receipts when requested
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort for passengers
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
• Keep records of trips, fares, and mileage as required for reporting purposes
• Respond professionally to passenger inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4, 3, 2 or 1 driver's license (5 non-GDL for delivery) with a clean driving record and relevant commercial driving experience preferred but not required
• Pro-Serve and SellSafe
• Clear RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles is advantageous
• Strong time management skills with the ability to navigate efficiently in urban environments
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, or holidays as needed

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, need an easygoing second job or are retired/disabled, love interacting with people, and providing excellent service in a dynamic environment. At the moment we are hiring full time night shift driver 4-on-4-off. and casual taxi drivers and delivery drivers.

Pay: $1,500.00-$2,200.00 per month
