We are seeking a full-time Software Engineer, Solutions to be part of our Implementation team. As the Software Engineer, Solutions at OneVest, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, client-centric solutions that bridge technology and business needs across OneVest's wealth management ecosystem. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, including cloud platforms, microservices, containerization, and automation tools, to build products that meet the evolving needs of our users and business.

What you'll be doing:

• Engage in project mobilization:
  Participate in internal hand-off sessions with Presales and Solutions Architects.
• Client-Facing Technical Leadership:
  Act as the technical lead during client onboarding, integrations, and solution design. Translate client requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.
• Solution Architecture & Design:
  Architect end-to-end solutions leveraging OneVest's APIs, data models, and platform capabilities. Ensure solutions align with client goals, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
• Integration Engineering -
  Lead technical implementation of integrations with client systems (e.g., custodians, CRMs, portfolio management tools).
• Develop and maintain reusable integration patterns and components.
• Collaborate in Technical Project Management:
  Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering Managers to define deliverables, tasks, and provide estimates for the technical delivery of client projects.
• Technical Documentation & Enablement:
  Create and maintain solution design documents, integration guides, and technical onboarding materials. Support internal teams with technical training and enablement.
• Quality Assurance & Testing:
  Define and execute non-functional test plans for custom solutions and integrations. Ensure reliability, performance, and security of delivered solutions.
• Build solutions on our cutting-edge Tech Stack:
  We use TypeScript across our platform, with React (web) and React Native (mobile) on the front end, and and MongoDB on the back end. Our platform follows a microservices architecture, hosted on AWS
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
  Identify opportunities to improve solution frameworks, tooling, and delivery processes. Collaborate with product teams to influence roadmap based on client needs.

Must Haves:

• Post-secondary education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale applications using modern tech stacks, with hands-on experience in TypeScript, , and MongoDB.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, APIs (RESTful, GraphQL), and modern design patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, serverless, CQRS).
• Experience working with complex and configurable SaaS platforms.
• Proven ability to effectively contribute to technical strategy and roadmaps.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical decisions to a wide audience.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience as a Software Engineer in a fintech company or a wealth management firm.
• Experience participating in Agile deliveries and utilizing tooling such as Asana, Jira, or SalesForce.
• Experience with work orchestration or other related automation platforms
• Open source or active participation in developer communities is a plus.
• Fluent in French.
