The Town of Stony Plain is the local government authority responsible for planning and delivering municipal services in Stony Plain, a Canadian urban community of approximately 18,000 people on the traditional Indigenous lands of Treaty 6 peoples.

The Stony Plain Golf Course is currently recruiting a key member of our team for the position of Associate Golf Professional. Reporting to the Head Professional, this position will provide assistance in all aspects of golf operations including tee times, course play, tournaments, lessons, sales, and merchandising. This role provides superior customer service to all members and players of the Stony Plain Golf Course.

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Possesses a fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules of golf, golf facility operations, and tournament operations.
• Is a diplomatic team player able to foster relationships with Members, guests, and colleagues.
• Has a strong professional approach to customer service and is passionate about the game of golf.
• Is self-motivated with the desire to promote and market the Stony Plain Golf Course and the game of golf.
• Has highly developed organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Will maintain and promote a positive professional image of the Stony Plain Golf Course.

Education and Experience:

• PGA of Canada Membership.
• Minimum 3 years' experience working in a golf course setting.

Based on a 40-hour work week, the wage for this position is $ $26.00 per hour depending upon background and experience. This is a temporary position with an anticipated start date of March 1st 2026, and will continue for approximately 9 months.
