Arabesque Academy of Dance is seeking a confident & committed dance instructor for busy Saturday morning classes, to begin in January for maternity leave coverage.

Candidates must have experience teaching dance to young children aged 2-6 years, as well as the ability to efficiently manage a class of young dancers. Candidates must be able to follow, and adapt, to a curriculum.

Experience with Creative Movement classes considered an asset. Candidates must have experience in ballet & jazz. Experience in other dance genres, as well as dance certifications, are also considered an asset.

Candidates must be available for the full session, which runs from January to June. Other teaching opportunities may be available.

Interested candidates can submit a resume. Selected candidates will be required to teach a trial class alongside one of our current instructors.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
