Your Responsibilities:
Performing technical calculations utilizing federal and provincial regulatory requirements to ensure benefits and impacts are captured for
Collaboration with Front End and other Engineering Services disciplines, Process Engineering, Refinery Technical, and Project Execution Teams
Facilitate project work and studies with 3rd party consultants, technology licensors and engineering contractors. Direct, review and approve their work and deliverables
Support inventory management plan for companies emissions monitoring and tracking following the GHG protocol and jurisdictional requirements
Assist with further development and implementation of Inventory Management Plan (IMP) including the complete understanding on Scope 3 emissions
Your Skills:
Good understanding of refinery operations as related to capital project work
Open to receiving coaching and mentoring at junior and intermediate levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in coordinating, leading, and directing other employees and project members
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision / direction and apply sound engineering judgement on technical matters
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Your Experience:
University degree in Chemical Engineering with EIT or P.Eng. designation (or immediate eligibility) in New Brunswick is required
5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in downstream oil and gas industry
Experience with Federal and Provincial Greenhouse Gas reporting programs is an asset
