Job Title: Geologist/Chief Executive Officer

Hertz Energy (C.HZ OTC: HZLIF) is a Canadian Securities Exchange-listed company with a focus on exploration projects, including antimony, tungsten and silver projects across Canada. WE are presently looking for a highly experienced mineral exploration Geologist/Chief Executive Officer to run our exploration projects and manage corporate communications. We are Vancouver, Canada-based.

About the role

As the Senior Geologist Resource Definition, you will be responsible for the safety leadership, project design and supervision, and exploration budgets. You will oversee and lead in the strategic exploration programs and resource definitions, as well as manage corporate administration duties. It will involve the management, collection, and interpretation of data from geological mapping, drilling, structural and geochemical data and investor communications.

The position can be remote and is available immediately. But the Candidate must have strong early-stage mineral exploration experience as well as public company administrative management experience.

We offer a competitive salary, bonus structure and future growth. The compensation range for this role is $140,000 to $177,000 CAD.

Key result areas in this role include:

Take on a role supervising Resource Definition activity within the exploration team, providing expertise in the practical application of software, drill target generation, geologic interpretation, cost tracking/monitoring and contractor management

Develop and deliver strategic exploration plans and budgets to define mineral resources.

Oversee that the QA/QC practices and processes pertaining to the company's projects, and adhere to industry exploration best practices, and are JORC compliant

Liaise with mine geology, resource geology, engineering, operations and contractors, fostering good communication and teamwork

Deliver monthly reports on drilling and resource definition activities

Coordinate detailed exploration budget using cross sections, 3D models, engineering input, cost estimates, etc

Prioritize exploration targets on projects and rank them to be compared against others within the resource pipeline

Provide safety leadership for the department, providing motivation, empowerment, and trust

Minimize company risk exposure and liabilities by monitoring activities to ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and licensing requirements

About you

As the Geologist/CEO, you should have a BSc in Geology or Earth Science and the ability to acquire a Professional Status in Canadian Provinces, especially the Yukon and Quebec. (P'Geo). It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:

At least 5 years of work experience supporting geology and exploration activities

Experience with managing drilling contractors, drill scheduling and logistics, coordinating multiple underground drill rigs

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Leapfrog software

Knowledge of exploration standards and regulations

Ambitious self-discipline, motivation and regulation

Superior attention to detail, methodical and thorough in approach

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving capabilities

Background in leading mineral resource definition projects.
