Job Description

Salary information : Competitive wages ($21.43 to $21.96/hour) 

DAY shift: Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm

At Techo-Bloc, our Production Labourers play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations.  This position is perfect for those who are new to the industry or looking for a stepping stone to a career in manufacturing. 

Our production labourers are true concrete connoisseurs On a daily basis, you will be handling and inspecting concrete pallets. 

  • Thrive in outdoor environments: Work efficiently in various weather conditions.
  • Pallet Handling: Assess, sort, and manage pallets with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Repair broken pallets: Which involves removing broken pieces of wood
  • Inventory Management: Follow and apply proper inventory procedures, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Versatility: Take on additional tasks as needed, showing adaptability and a proactive attitude.
  • Flexible Support: Provide temporary or replacement support to production or yard operations as needed, ensuring smooth service continuity.
Qualifications
  • Tool Usage: Safely operate pneumatic nailers (internal training will be provided) and other essential tools required for the position (example: hammers).
  • Physical Requirements: Confidently handle physically demanding tasks and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Forklift experience (an asset)

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
