The following teaching need is required for in-class delivery (no remote or hybrid options) at the Commerce Court Campus:
AMD150 – Introduction to Industry 4.0
3 hours/week
Schedule: TBA
 
Qualifications:

Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Engineering Economics
Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Advanced Manufacturing
Proficiency in the pillars of Industry 4.0, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data and Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality, and Additive Manufacturing.
Understanding of Cyber-Physical Systems and their role in smart factories
Knowledge of automation, robotics, and real-time monitoring systems
Familiarity with predictive maintenance using sensors and AI
Expertise in connecting devices, sensors, and machines through IoT frameworks
Experience creating interactive and practical learning experiences
Highly effective communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated knowledge of student success strategies in a post-secondary setting
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in learning management systems (Brightspace or Moodle) and educational technologies is an asset
Experience with curriculum development and assessment design in a post-secondary context is an asset

Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver and evaluate effective learning related to the course
Work closely with students and colleagues to provide an optimal learning environment
Perform all responsibilities associated with the learning environment including preparation, delivery, and evaluation of theory and practical learning activities
