Job Title: Pega Smart Dispute Developer

Experience Required: 5–7 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pega Developer to join our Smart Dispute implementation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Pega PRPC, Smart Dispute frameworks. Knowledge of integration of SmartDisputes with financial platforms such as Visa VROL, Mastercard MCOM, Ethoca, and Verifi is a plus, but not mandatory. This role involves working closely with business analysts, solution architects, and QA teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and automated dispute resolution workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Pega Smart Dispute components including STP flows, fraud workflows, and guided processing screens.
  • Implement business rules and decisioning logic
  • Integrate Pega applications with external systems (e.g., Visa VROL, Mastercard MCOM).
  • Collaborate with LSA and BA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (Reg E, Reg Z, Section 75, C-86).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Conduct unit testing and support QA/UAT phases.
  • Provide production support and troubleshoot post-deployment issues.

Required Skills

  • Pega CSSA certification (mandatory); CLSA preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Pega Smart Dispute framework and its components.
  • Experience with Pega 8.x versions.
  • Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and external APIs.
  • Knowledge of financial dispute workflows and compliance SLAs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Experience with Pega RPA and low-code automation.
  • Understanding of fraud detection and provisional credit processes.
  • Prior experience in BFSI domain, especially cards and payments.
  • Knowledge of integration of SmartDisputes with financial platforms such as Visa VROL, Mastercard MCOM, Ethoca, and Verifi

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
