Your role @ Chanel :
As Boutique Manager – Fragrance & Beauty, you will manage the day-to-day running of the boutique, while delivering the best customer service & developing sales. You will promote best practice within the team, ensuring that everyone meets standards, including those of customer service, product care, presentation and teamwork, at all times.
What impact you can create at Chanel :
Customer experience / Customer relations
- You will provide the highest level of customer service at all times, supervising and ensuring the team's cooperation, including consultations, rapid response to telephone inquiries and outstanding after-sales service;
- You will establish, maintain and encourage good customer relations, including welcoming customers, introducing them to new products and accompanying them to the exit, while ensuring that the team applies the expected and appropriate skills;
- You will ensure that customers are entered into the database and that the system is kept up to date by obtaining and adding customer information.
Within the store
- You will encourage and support sales staff in maintaining a continuous focus on objectives and goals, and monitor sales;
- You will encourage and coach the team in the application of product knowledge standards and sales skills, helping them to maximize sales opportunities.

- You will communicate effectively and appropriately with your team, colleagues and CHANEL senior management and head office as required;
- You will ensure structured organization, communication and follow-up of weekly quotas and daily breaks;
- You will ensure absolute confidentiality of the Company's business and internal affairs at all times.
Products & Merchandising - Sales floor
- You will be responsible for ordering products to keep the boutique running smoothly and generate sales, overseeing the handling and storage of merchandise;
- You will set up campaigns and new products, and guarantee the visual identity of the boutique in line with brand standards.
Personal presentation / Image
- You will help monitor time and absence management within the team;
- You will ensure that the team's dress code and personal presentation guidelines are respected;
- You will maintain the uniform in good condition and ensure that the team wears and maintains their uniforms as required;
- You will ensure that the Boutique, including customer and stock areas, and the office are tidy and clean at all times, and that products sold or used are replaced promptly.
Training / Personal development
- Listen to and advise Beauty Consultants, so that they acquire and apply the lessons learned from training courses;
- Liaise with head office to provide a daily report for the week, so as to offer informative and participative morning meetings.

- Strong retail experience in the beauty or fashion industry, with proven sales successes/skills;
- Approachable team player with exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell stories and articulate details in an attention-grabbing manner;
- Initiative, combining a strategic and spontaneous approach to building strong, personalized relationships;
- Integrity and professionalism with high emotional intelligence.
