Role Description

The Commercial Service Door Technician Lead (ODT2 – Master) will oversee and perform service, maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial and residential overhead doors and access solutions. This individual will manage on-site operations, including troubleshooting and coordinating team efforts to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. The position also involves providing excellent customer service and fostering clear communication with clients and team members. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kelowna, BC.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair tasks, ensuring doors, loading docks, and related equipment are operational and meet safety standards.
  • Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnostics and effective resolution of equipment issues.
  • Experience in Field Service, with the ability to adapt to diverse job sites and manage on-site responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to providing excellent Customer Service, including clear communication and ensuring client satisfaction with all services rendered.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and oversee team members on-site.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses for working with overhead doors and equipment (preferred).
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions is essential.
