Responsibilities

  • Blister packaging (primary role)
  • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for pharmaceuticals and supplies as needed.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, offering guidance on medication usage, and addressing concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Process prescriptions accurately, including verifying patient information and medication details.
  • Blister packaging for seniors
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the hospital to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.

Skills

  • Proficiency in medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Knowledge of medication administration practices to ensure safe handling of pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations is a plus, enhancing collaboration within the healthcare team.
