The Royal Hamilton Yacht Club is looking for talented individual to join the front-of-house team. As a part of the front of house team, you will play an integral role in providing top-notch service and upholding our restaurant standards of excellence.

We are a private club, serving our members and their guests. We have a patio, pool and dining facilities. We have a busy summer schedule filled with regattas and social events.

FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

As the Front of House Manager, you will play an integral role in the running of the restaurant's daily operations, HR, scheduling, training and more.

Qualifications:

· Minimum two-three years restaurant management

· Background in wine, beer & spirits

· Proven leadership skills and positive attitude

· Strong sense of teamwork and a passion for food & drink, and guest experience

· Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge

· Smart Serve Certified

Responsibilities

Basic responsibilities of the role include:

  • Hands-on management during lunch and dinner service
  • Recruiting, training and scheduling employees
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met
  • Using a Point of Sales System
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant services
  • Ensuring employment standards are followed
  • Inventory management
  • Working with our club volunteers for their F&B requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
