Field Service Technician

Description:

Field Service Technicians may not have a standard work schedule. Providing support to casinos, Field Technicians must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed. (Short notice, on-call, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime)

Requirements:

  • Carry out activities related to installation, preparation, removal, conversion, service, preventative maintenance, and upgrading of gaming systems and equipment in the field.
  • Set up game options and tests including assurance hardware, firmware and system interfaces, to include confirmation that all are accurate and functional.
  • Schedule and perform activities in assigned territory.
  • Respond to customer issues, reaching out to the senior technician when needed.
  • Document repair, preventive maintenance, machine prep, standard power analysis and pre-site work.
  • Identify and coordinate ordering of parts when needed.
  • Follow documentation, policies, and procedures and perform tasks with and without supervision.
  • Document services and installations by keeping accurate records.
  • Troubleshoot while tracking and reporting issues to management.
  • Educate customers on basic game functionality.
  • Maintain a positive image of Interblock Gaming with co-workers and customers.
  • Adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with compliance officers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean DMV driving report.
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Able to pass drug screening, and pass a thorough background check to obtain a casino gaming license.
  • Must be able to travel in the assigned territory, frequently.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to demonstrate independent initiative, sound judgement, and collaboration with others.
  • Must possess strong communication skills and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50lbs. or more.
  • Must have the ability to interact with colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Physical activities include frequent bending, stooping, lifting, walking, and /or reaching.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical order forms.
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed (short notice, on-call, weekends, holidays, overtime).

Preferred Skills:

· Technical degree or certification.

· Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

· Gaming industry experience.

· Field Service Technician experience.

· Familiar with networking technologies, digital electronics.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

· May be required to move about, squat, kneel and/or stand an entire shirt.

· Constantly moves, transports, and operations technical equipment.

· Ability to climb stairs, walk, squat, kneel, or drive.

· Ability to move and lift equipment and materials up to 30 lbs.

· May require bending and reaching in areas from floor level to six feet high.

· Requires the pushing and pulling of equipment.

· Work is performed in varied environments, frequently casinos and gaming properties where the noise level can be moderate to elevated.

· May be exposed to a smoky environment as to be expected in a casino or gaming environment.
