Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Conduct commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, and fixtures to ensure a pristine environment
  • Assist with basic facilities maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or fixtures and reporting repair needs
  • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
  • Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and special event cleanup requirements

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably in commercial or industrial settings
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
  • Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
  • Excellent time management skills to complete duties efficiently within scheduled hours
