  • Job Description Summary

Lead the Operations function at local level, with full accountability of running the day-to-day Operation and to overachieve customer expectations through lean, faultless operational execution (Care, Customer, Cost, Cash), in an extended value chain and at the lowest total cost
- 1. Safety & Integrity

Responsible to implement and sponsor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations across all functions. Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance.

  1. People Leadership & Development

Accountable that all functions are properly organized, staffed and directed, accountable to build an effective, capable and high-performing organization. Responsible to develop talent, review organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrades.

  1. Strategy

Responsible to execute a customer-focused Operations strategy for the overall business and functional strategy developed.

  1. End-to-End Operations

Accountable for a sustainable and effective E2E value-chain for the Business, from Customer to Supplier and from Order to Delivery. Accountable for the effective deployment of the respective Procurement and Logistics strategy. Responsible for project execution from order to service. Responsible to establish and run an effective S&OP process.

  1. Management of Operations/ Project Manager

Owns and is accountable to deliver RELEX KPIs in line with Accelleron expectations. Accountable to deliver 4C targets for Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity As applicable: deploys and manages Integrated Project Management system for Project Execution. Responsible for on-time/on-margin project execution and to deliver project EBIT and cash.

  1. Quality

Accountable for the effective deployment of Accelleron's Quality strategy. Responsible for Quality assurance, Quality control and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system.

  1. Continuous Improvement & Customer Satisfaction

Responsible to champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the organization. Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures.

  1. Engineering & Manufacturing Process

Responsible to ensure master data excellence. Responsible to deploy manufacturing technology and engineering process standards. Responsible to establish governance mechanisms to drive and ensure compliance. Adjust Engineering and Manufacturing resources with workload.

  1. Budget & Performance Management

Accountable to deliver COGS savings and all other financial performance KPIs. Accountable to define and delivery annual budgets for CapEx and OPEX expenses.

  1. Standards, Governance & Risk Management

Accountable to ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies and procedures related to Operations/Project execution. Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations.

  1. Other duties as assigned by manager.
