The Opportunity

Shape Something Different – This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in municipal engineering projects that make a real difference in communities. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, applying your classroom knowledge to real-world challenges and contributing to sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Your Impact

  • Assist in the design and drafting of municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, water, and wastewater systems.
  • Support field investigations and data collection to inform engineering designs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions for community development.
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation that contribute to project success.
  • Apply innovative thinking to help solve complex engineering problems with guidance from senior engineers.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program at a recognized college or university.
  • Strong interest in municipal engineering and infrastructure development.
  • Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D is an asset.
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments, adhering to safety standards.
  • Eager to learn, contribute, and make an impact on projects that matter.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $24.00 – $32.25
MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $21.50 – $30.25
