Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson or Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in autobody, with the ability to work self sufficiently, along with access to their own tools. This role requires adhering to OEM procedures to ensure repairs are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Review repair estimates and assess vehicle damage.
  • Ensure all parts required for repairs are accounted for on estimates.
  • Perform bodywork, including dent repair, panel replacement, and refinishing.
  • Execute welding tasks to restore structural integrity of vehicles.
  • Dismantle and reassemble vehicles during repair processes.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and tools.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times.

Skills

  • Bodywork: Repair dents, replace panels, and restore surfaces according to OEM standards.
  • Welding: Perform MIG, following OEM guidelines.
  • Assembly: Dismantle and reassemble vehicle components accurately, adhering to OEM specifications.
  • Repairs: Diagnose and fix mechanical and structural vehicle issues in line with OEM standards.

Compensation is based on demonstrated skills, experience, and level of professional proficiency.
