About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled and dependable Experienced Senior Hot Tub Service Technician to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on experience in hot tub repair, maintenance, and installation—who's ready to take lead in delivering top-quality service across our entire service network.

You'll work across our entire service area in Southwest Alberta, driving between job sites, completing repairs on all makes and models of hot tubs, swim spas and cold plunges.

As a senior hot tub service technician, you will also be responsible to help train junior technicians as needed and monitor and look over their work and ensure accuracy and efficiency.

You also will be assisting with water services such as drain and refills, shut downs, start ups and delivery or relocation service. Your primary office location will be based out of Canmore or Cochrane Alberta pending on what is closer to you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain hot tubs, swim spas, cold plunges, and related equipment (pumps, heaters, controls, plumbing, and electrical components).
  • Perform regular maintenance services such as water balancing, filter changes, cleaning, and overall equipment upkeep and maintenance.
  • Lead and train junior technicians, ensuring work is completed to company standards.
  • Tow trailers and assist with hot tub deliveries, including setup, site preparation, and customer orientation.
  • Travel throughout the Southwest Alberta service area, driving between multiple job sites daily.
  • Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance in a clear and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with the service manager to schedule and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Ensure safe work practices and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hot tub/spa service experience (electrical, plumbing, or mechanical background preferred).
  • Experience with Beachcomber Hot Tubs is preferred, but the ability to service and repair all major brands is expected.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Towing experience with trailers is required (hot tub delivery experience an asset).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (company vehicle provided for work travel).
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Leadership experience and the ability to mentor other technicians.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends during busy seasons or urgent service needs.
