About Us
Exploring Minds is a multidisciplinary center providing high-quality ABA, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy services to children and youth with autism and developmental needs. Our team is dedicated to evidence-based practices, collaboration, and empowering families.
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis for our locations in Mississauga and Brampton. The OT will assess developmental, sensory, and functional skill needs and provide individualized intervention to support meaningful participation across daily routines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct standardized and informal OT assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's goals
- Provide direct therapeutic intervention (fine motor, sensory regulation, ADLs, etc.)
- Collaborate with RBAs, SLPs, therapists, and caregivers
- Provide caregiver coaching and strategies for home/generalization
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Ontario regulations
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations when required
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
- Experience working with children with autism and developmental delays (preferred)
- Strong understanding of sensory integration principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Professional liability insurance required
Schedule & Availability
- Part-time: Flexible hours as per clients availability
