Become a key leader in transforming education at the world's leading cloud platform. As the Director of Future Builder Programs for AWS Training & Certifications, you will shape the strategy and delivery of our global educational program offerings by partnering with customers, educational institutions, and specialty and technical teams to expand AWS education and training services. Future Builder Programs priority is to cultivate and reach tomorrow's builder: spanning from from higher education to adult learning, balancing both commercial and social impact initiatives.
In this role you will be responsible for future builder program offerings globally, including T&C educational programs and AWS Cloud Institute. You will collaborate cross- functionally to assess market needs, design new training and certification programs, and ensure seamless delivery and continuous improvement. This includes leading a global diverse team, interacting with key stakeholders, and shaping and implement the strategy of large, global businesses in need of transformation.

AWS Training and Certification equips learners and organizations in more than 200 countries and territories with resources to build and validate in-demand cloud computing skills. In addition to classroom training, learners of all skill levels can access AWS Skill Builder's 600+ online courses and lab experiences in up to 20 languages, as well as AWS Skill Builder: Individual and Team subscriptions with interactive learning like role-based games and AWS Certification exam preparation. To validate knowledge and expertise, AWS Training and Certification offers multiple industry-recognized certifications across foundational, associate, professional, and specialty categories.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business, or 10+ years equivalent experience
- 10+ years of general management experience including leading a global team of at least 50 people, including 8+ years' experience managing in a leader-of-leaders capacity
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with a proven track record of coaching, mentoring, and driving results
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including influencing and negotiation skills
- Expertise bringing learning experiences to new-to-cloud audiences and those seeking an on-ramp to a cloud career
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of general management experience, including leading a matrixed global team
- Expertise engaging with customers and partners across all levels of leadership, as well as with services and sales stakeholders
- Experience working in a highly innovative enterprise IT company
- Knowledge of previous experience implementing and enabling AWS services in various distributed computing environments.
- Technical depth and/or experience building solutions powered by machine learning/AI, and leading technical expert teams in this space
- Recognition as an influencer and innovator in information technology learning and education - Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $232,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $345,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
