Why we need you

Our goal is to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for every customer, from sales to service. To achieve this, we need energetic and dependable team members who are excited to be a part of the fast-paced automotive world.

Our vision at DAG is to create lifetime guests, not just one-time customers. To do that, we need someone extraordinary. Someone who embodies our "fix it right the first time" attitude.

Without you, we're just another service center. With you, we're the guardians of our guests' automotive dreams, ensuring their vehicles are always ready for the next adventure.

Here's what you'll be doing

We are looking for a Service Lot Attendant who will play a vital role in the success of our service department. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll ensure that their vehicles are handled with care and precision. Your daily responsibilities will include organizing the lot, moving vehicles to and from the service area, maintaining a clean and presentable work environment, and assisting service advisors and technicians with various tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, reliable, and eager to grow within the automotive industry.

  • Vehicle Management:Move and park customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the lot is always organized and accessible.
  • Service Preparation:Drive vehicles to and from the service bays, car wash, or detailing areas, and ensure vehicles are ready for customer pickup after service is completed.
  • Customer Interaction:Greet customers upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with any initial questions or directing them to the appropriate service advisor.
  • Lot Organization:Maintain a well-organized lot by keeping vehicles neatly arranged, ensuring the service area is clean, clear, and safe for customers and staff.
  • Vehicle Inspection:Perform quick visual inspections for obvious issues (such as flat tires or visible damage) and report them to service advisors or technicians.
  • Detailing Assistance:Wash and vacuum customer vehicles after service if needed, ensuring every vehicle leaves the lot in excellent condition.
  • Assist Service Team:Provide general support to the service advisors and technicians, such as retrieving vehicles, delivering parts, or setting up work areas.
  • Lot Maintenance:Regularly monitor the lot and service areas for trash or debris, ensuring a clean and professional environment at all times.

This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected. It is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required by the incumbent. Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required.

You need these qualifications

  • Passion for Cars:Enthusiastic about working around vehicles and providing great service.
  • Valid Driver's License:A clean and valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
  • Team Player:Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Stamina:Comfortable with extended periods of walking, standing, and driving, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Professionalism:Present a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
  • Attention to Detail:Ability to follow instructions carefully, particularly when handling vehicles or performing inspections.
  • Flexibility:Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, as needed.

What we offer

  • Performance-Driven Culture: We celebrate achievements and foster a results-oriented work environment.
  • Career Growth: We're committed to helping our team members grow their careers with us - we believe in promoting from within.

  • Competitive Pay: We value your contributions and ensure you're rewarded accordingly.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverage, along with a Parts & Service Discount and a generous Vehicle Purchase Program.
  • Professional Development: Ongoing training opportunities to keep your skills sharp and your career on track through our DAG Academy.
