Position Overview

BSG Mechanical is seeking qualified Journeyman Sheet Metal Installers (308A) for ongoing ICI projects throughout the GTA. This is an opportunity for skilled tradespeople who work safely, follow site procedures, and contribute positively to the job site and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install sheet metal ductwork and HVAC components on ICI construction sites
  • Read and work from drawings, layouts, and specifications
  • Install hangers, supports, and associated hardware
  • Coordinate work with foremen and other trades on site
  • Perform work in compliance with building codes, project requirements, and safety regulations
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Represent BSG Mechanical in a professional manner on all job sites

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Valid 308A Journeyman Sheet Metal License
  • Experience working on ICI construction projects
  • Current Working at Heights certification
  • Reliable transportation to GTA job sites
  • Own basic hand tools required for the trade
  • Strong commitment to safety and job site procedures

Assets

  • Experience with commercial and industrial HVAC systems
  • Lift certifications (scissor, boom)
  • Ability to work independently and assist with mentoring apprentices as required
