Ce rôle gère un portefeuille clé de clients à travers le Québec, les Maritimes et l'Est de l'Ontario. L'accent est mis sur la croissance des ventes, le renforcement de la présence sur le marché et la construction
de relations solides avec les distributeurs et les partenaires de détail.
Fonctions Essentielles:
- Gérez le portefeuille de clients, en assurant une exécution solide des produits dérivés, de l'assortiment, des prix et des étagères.
- Développez et transmettez des histoires de vente fondées sur des faits aux clients et aux équipes internes.
- Bâtir des relations solides avec des acteurs clés tels que Colabor, Jean Coutu, AGD (St-Jean) et des distributeurs/détaillants indépendants à travers QC/Maritimes/East ON.
- Comprenez les exigences en matière d'EDLP, de stratégie promotionnelle et de marchandisage pour le commerce de détail indépendant.
- Fournir des revues d'affaires structurées, gérer les KPIs et maintenir des données exactes sur les prix et la distribution.
- Examinez les tendances du marché et l'activité concurrentielle pour identifier les risques et les nouvelles opportunités.
- Soutenez les visites de marché et les appels de comptes clés avec les distributeurs et détaillants.
Ce que nous cherchons:
- Baccalauréat en affaires, marketing ou domaine connexe.
- Cinq ans ou plus d'expérience en vente de biens de consommation ou en gestion de comptes.
- Une solide compréhension des paysages du commerce de détail et des distributeurs au Québec; l'expérience avec IGA QC, Metro QC, Jean Coutu, etc., est un atout.
- Capacité à collaborer avec les acheteurs et les gestionnaires de catégorie dans les environnements de distributeurs.
- Excellentes compétences en communication, négociation et construction de relations.
- Solides compétences analytiques et maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
- Bilingue (français/anglais), écrit et parlé.

MacDonald Search Group has been engaged to recruit a Business Manager for a leading organization in the consumer-packaged goods sector. This role manages a key client portfolio across Quebec, the Maritimes and Eastern Ontario. The focus is on driving sales growth, strengthening market presence, and building strong relationships with distributor and retail partners.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the client portfolio, ensuring strong execution of merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving.
- Develop and deliver fact-based selling stories to customers and internal teams.
- Build strong relationships with key players such as Colabor, Jean Coutu, AGD (St-Jean), and independent distributors/retailers across QC/Maritimes/East ON.
- Understand EDLP, promotional strategy, and merchandising requirements for independent retail.
- Provide structured business reviews, manage KPIs, and maintain accurate pricing and distribution data.
- Review market trends and competitive activity to identify risks and new opportunities.
- Support market visits and key account calls with distributors and retailers.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in CPG sales or account management.
- Strong understanding of Quebec retail and distributor landscapes
- Ability to collaborate with buyers and category managers within distributor environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingual (French/English), written and spoken.
