Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated, efficient, and experienced Class 3 Driver to join our Nova Scotia team. This position will transport bulk lubricants within Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Duties

  • Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
  • Deliver bulk lubricants to customers on a predetermined route.
  • Load and unload bulk truck as required.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions
  • Safely operates trucks as assigned.
  • Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse
  • Coordinate work with fellow workers and other team members
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Class 3 Driver's License
  • Class 1 license considered an asset
  • 5-years' drivers abstract in good standing
  • Demonstrated truck driving experience with straight trucks and bulk oil trucks.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain good attendance
  • Ability to provide internal and external customer service
  • Ability to work independently and with other employees, including management, office, warehouse, and sales personnel
  • Knowledge of the roadways and surrounding areas
  • Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs

Do you have:

  • Class 3 License
  • Our tank trucks are equipped with a 100 foot 1 ½ inch hose. Are you able to climb up and down stairs, around corners, climb on top of tanks etc. pulling the hose with you to make deliveries?
  • Are you familiar with tank trucks with PTO pumps and delivering liquid products?

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
