Your role, your impact

As a Strategic Advisor, Financial Services, you'll report to the Vice President, Financial Services and be part of the sub-division that delivers professional IT services to our financial sector clients in Quebec. Acting as the VP's right hand, you'll serve as the strategic link between senior management, project directors, clients, and delivery partners. You'll play a key role in the success of major fixed-price projects (over $50M), ensuring cohesion, clarity, and trust at all levels in a complex and constantly evolving environment.

Your day-to-day

• Represent the VP with clients, including participating in project steering committees and negotiation sessions with the client for high-visibility projects;
• Support project directors in resolving complex challenges by providing strategic and political insight;
• Collaborate with the Senior Delivery Director and, in a matrix structure, with the Delivery Director responsible for team members involved in project delivery;
• Decode organizational and political issues to anticipate obstacles, facilitate decision-making, and make improvement recommendations as needed;
• Build bridges between internal and external stakeholders, fostering alignment and engagement;
• Act as a catalyst for collaboration, turning differences into synergies;
• Serve as the primary point of contact representing Alithya to the client and partners' procurement sector.

Keys to your success

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or other relevant fields;
• Minimum 15 years of experience in complex environments, with strong exposure to large-scale fixed-price project delivery;
• Sharp political acumen and ability to read between the lines and act with finesse;
• Influential leadership focused on diplomacy, credibility, and engagement;
• Ability to simplify technical and contractual issues for diverse audiences;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a keen sense of listening and strategy;
• Ability to thrive in a complex, constantly evolving environment.

Extra edge

• Strong business acumen and an MBA;
• PMP certification;
• Knowledge of the banking and insurance sectors.

Language skills

• French: Proficient
• English: Intermediate
