About the RoleThe Agriculture Service Technician plays a key role in delivering exceptional service through the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of agricultural and turf equipment. This opportunity offers exposure to state-of-the-art tools, cutting-edge diagnostics, and ongoing training through John Deere University and dealer-led programs. The role is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated to expand their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspection, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of agricultural equipment with a commitment to high-quality standards.
- Utilize specialized tools and advanced diagnostic technology to complete complex repairs.
- Perform preventative maintenance in alignment with manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere equipment and related competitive products.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and technical training programs.
- Provide strong customer support by delivering timely, accurate, and professional service.
- 1 years experience performing complex maintenance and repair work.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and basic computer applications.
- Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification or equivalent trade (Heavy Equipment, Automotive, etc.) is preferred.
- Consideration may be given to 3rd or 4th year Apprentices with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with John Deere equipment is an asset but not required.
