Allegion Canada is currently looking for a Territory Account Manager to join our winning team in Calgary, AB. As Territory Account Manager in Southern Alberta you will: Drive and generate new business; provide sales support to the distributors in the assigned territory (Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer); assist and educate end-users on the application, installation and maintenance of all product lines. Recommend the addition of new distributors and assist in their evaluation. Call on major architectural firms to promote our consulting services and provide them with technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent all product lines of the Company to the assigned distributors, architects and end-users within the territory
  • Assist in the establishment of short and long-range goals for the territory in total and by customer
  • Provide sales support & professional level account management to established distributors(multi-branch accounts) within the assigned territory
  • Develop a territory business plan and customized business plans for all accounts to include the following: dealer targets, product training, investment strategies, and revenue goals
  • Support the business marketing strategies by providing accurate and timely sales reports and competitive information to the Regional Sales Organization to assist in maintaining accurate competitor product / price lists
  • Maintain and utilize CRM tool for roles reporting and to communicate sales activities.

What you will need:

  • 4-6 years of Consultative, solution-based sales experience with similar/relevant industries and products
  • Experience with highly collaborative team-selling environments
  • Demonstrated aptitude for digital tools (CRM, Power BI, MS Office)
  • Demonstrated capability to work with mature databases, generate new partnerships and maximize pipeline of opportunities within existing accounts
  • Experience with demand creation & selling in a remote environment
  • A University or College graduate in Architectural Engineering or Technology, Designated Architectural Hardware Consultant (A.H.C), or equivalent years of experience
  • Experience with channel-based sales in a similar environment highly preferred
