The day-to-day operations on the golf course. Setting up the property for daily play. Mowing turf, detailing, edging and raking sand bunkers. Working weekends mandatory.Job Description:
Description of Duties and Tasks
Setup the golf course for daily play.
Maintain turf areas, shrubs, trees.
Operate power tools, trimmers, blowers and hand tools.
Operate turf mowers, tractors, and utility vehicles.
Professional Development hours up to date.
May perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment as required.
Remove debris from runoff during rainy season.
Knowledge
Equipment, tools and procedures used in grounds care.
Safe work practices.
Skills
Maintaining an established work schedule.
Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Technology Skills
Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software applications and student information and database systems.
Required Work Experience
Golf Course experience preferred, not required
Physical Requirements.
Work is performed in a variety of settings outdoors. Subject to temperature extreme hot days, cold days and raining day conditions.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.
Safety
Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations policies
